Custom Blend Creation
Q: What is the Atelier?
A: The Atelier is where formulation meets intention. It's our creative space where custom blends are developed. You will find the consultation form on the Atelier page. The Atelier makes it possible for you to create your own path to wellness with custom creation, where we craft a blend unique to you.
Q: How does custom creation work?
A: You'll begin by completing a Consultation form, where you share your intentions, preferences, & any sensitivities. After submitting the form you will receive an email with a link to our custom blend product page where you choose your bottle size & design & complete your order. From there, we handcraft a roller uniquely aligned to you--blended with care, purpose & intention, based off your answers from the consultation.
Q: How long does the custom process take?
A: Each custom roller is created after your consultation is submitted & once you have completed your order on the product page. Please allow 3-8 business days for blending & preparation before your order ships. We will keep you updated throughout the process & you'll receive tracking information once your roller is on the way.
Q: Can I request changes after submitting my consultation?
A: If you need to update something shortly after submitting, contact us as soon as possible by emailing hello@dyjestwellness.com. Once blending has begun, changes may not be possible.
Q: Can I reorder a custom blend I've already purchased?
A: Yes. Once your custom roller has been created, you will receive a Blend ID with your parcel. Keep this to reorder your blend anytime & enter it on the Reorder My Blend form.
Q: Are reorders faster than first-time custom creation?
A: Yes. Since your formulation already exists, reorders are typically completed more quickly than new custom creations, allow 1-3 days before shipping.
Q: Why do custom creations cost more than other DyJest blends?
A: Custom blend creations require individualized formulation time, ingredient selection, & intentional pairing of oils & crystals based on your submitted preferences. Each formula is created specifically for you, which involves additional preparation beyond our small batch DyJest blends.
Q: Will reordering my blend cost the same?
A: No. Once your personalized formula has been created & saved, reorders are priced the same as our other DyJest blends. The initial cost reflects the formulation process- not ongoing pricing.
Q: Can I choose my crystals?
A: While there isn't a specific question asking what crystal you prefer, you may include on your Consultation form which crystals you would like to use under the Additional Notes question, otherwise crystals are chosen by DyJest. All other DyJest blends you are not able to change the crystals.
Crystal Meaning
Q: Are the crystals functional or for aesthetics?
A: Crystals are included for their beauty & symbolic meaning. Many customers believe they help amplify intention & energy, while others simply enjoy their aesthetic presence. You're welcome to engage with them in whatever way feels aligned to you.
Q: Do the crystals touch the oil?
A: Yes. The crystals sit inside the bottle & remain in contact with the oil. Crystals are cleansed before bottle contact.
Care & Storage
Q: How do I care for my crystal-infused roller?
A: To keep your roller feeling refreshed:
- Store in a dry, cool place
- Avoid direct sunlight & heat
- keep it in its original bottle, sealed tightly
- if you ever feel your blend isn't working as before you can hold your roller & think of the intention that blend supports (once a week or monthly, or as needed.)
Ingredient Transparency
Q: Are your products safe for sensitive skin?
A: Rollers have been tested for skin sensitivity but everyone's skin is different. Custom Creations are created using thoughtfully selected ingredients. We recommend you perform a patch test with any of our products especially, if you have skin sensitivities. Please list allergies on your consultation form when ordering your custom creation.
Q: Are your products cruelty-free?
A: Yes. DyJest products are cruelty-free. We do not test on animals, & we work with suppliers who share that commitment. Our products are made with plant-based ingredients & contain no animal-derived components.
Q: Are your products natural or organic?
A: We prioritize high-quality, natural ingredients & thoughtfully sourced essential oils. While some ingredients may be certified organic, not all components are certified organic. Our focus is on purity, safety, & intentional formulation rather than labels alone.
Q: Are the oils diluted?
A: Yes. Each blend is properly diluted with Fractionated Coconut Oil to make it safe for topical application.
Q: Are they safe for kids?
A: Some blends may not be suitable for children. If you're purchasing for someone under 12, please contact us first so we can guide you toward an age- appropriate option.
Essential Oil Effectiveness
Q: How fast do essential oils work when applied topically?
A: When applied to the skin, diluted essential oils begin to absorb within minutes, depending on the blend & where it is applied. Most people notice aroma & skin sensations quickly, while systemic absorption begins gradually.
Q: How fast do oils work when inhaled?
A: Inhalation is the fasted pathway. When you breathe in aroma, scent signals reach the brain within seconds, influencing the limbic system (the area linked to emotion & memory.) This is why many people feel an immediate shift in mood when smelling a blend.
Q: How long do the effects last?
A: Essential oil components are naturally metabolized by the body within a few hours. Many people reapply 2-3 times daily as part of a consistent routine.
Shipping & Orders
Q: When will my order ship?
A: DyJest rollers typically ship within 1-2 business days. Custom rollers ship after the creation window noted above. Reordering Custom blends typically ship about the same time other DyJest rollers do.
Q: Do you accept returns or exchanges?
A: Due to the personalized nature of our products, custom rollers are final sale. If there's an issue with your order, please contact us & we'll do our best to help. See our return policy for more information.
